Sao Paulo State Rebellion

Laik tatil : In 1932 Sao Paulo State was governed by a governor imposed by the central government in Rio de Janeiro and the Paulistas (people from Sao Paulo) decided to break with the central government and start a military movement against the central government. This movement ended in a 3 month civil war. The slogan was Viveram Pouco para morrer bem - Morreram jovens para viver siempre (a short life to die well- a good death to live forever).
